The IT Centre, downstairs next to the library, is open to all students 24 hours a day and has 20 computers with a range of software. There are printing, scanning and copying facilities – please note printing here is charged to your next College bill at 5p/sheet. The photocopier also costs 5p/sheet. At the ground floor of Canning & Eliza Fok Building, in the MCR Office next to the MCR Common Room, there are two more computers as well as a printer, scanner and photocopier (paper may be collected from the MCR Computing Officer). Graduate rooms have Ethernet sockets and/or wifi to connect your computer to the College network (internet charges are included in your rent). More about the University network including details on how to set up a connection in your room can be found on the University information services web site. The College IT Office (Andy Semark, email@example.com) can also answer questions about computing in College. Alternatively, you may email the MCR Computing Officer who will be happy to help you or direct you to further assistance (firstname.lastname@example.org).
